Nach der guten Resonanz auf das Design der NBH 630 und NBH 1100 galt es nun die neuen Gestaltungsmerkmale bei der Entwicklung der grösseren NBH 1600 für den Chinesischen Markt umzusetzen. Die Maschinenstruktur sieht einen abgeschirmten Bereich für den Palettenwechsel vor, derals Podestlösung ausgebildet wird. Die Bedienerseite ist für eine bessere Einsicht als Schacht ausgebildet. Das rückseitige Kassettenmagazin ist gegenüber den NBH 630 und 1100 zwar längenskaliert aber baugleich in Struktur und Schnittstelle zur Maschine.
After the good response to the design of the NBH 630 and NBH 1100, it was now a matter of implementing the new design features in the development of the larger NBH 1600 for the chinese market. The machine structure provides for a screened area for pallet changing as a platform solution. The operator side is designed as a shaft for better visibility. Compared to the NBH 630 and 1100, the cassette magazine at the rear is scaled in length but identical in structure and interface to the machine.
